Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy in another bowl.
- Beat in the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Mix together the cinnamon and brown sugar in a small bowl.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it, then layer the remaining batter on top and swirl in the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
Best served warm, can be sliced for sharing. Pairs well with coffee or tea.
