Description

A delightful and nutritious take on classic taco salad served in crispy tortilla bowls.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 4 cups lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 cup cheese, shredded
  • 6 small tortillas (for homemade tortilla bowls)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Toppings (sour cream, salsa, avocado, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Shape tortillas into bowls and bake for 10 minutes until crispy.
  3. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Combine cooked beef, black beans, lettuce, corn, and cheese in a large bowl.
  5. Fill each tortilla bowl with the mixture and top with your choice of toppings.
  6. Serve immediately.
