Description

A simple yet delicious guacamole recipe perfect for parties or as a tasty snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 2 roma tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 1 lime
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocados with a fork until smooth or to your desired consistency.
  3. Finely chop the roma tomatoes, cilantro, red onion, and garlic, then add to the bowl with the mashed avocado.
  4. Squeeze the juice of the lime into the bowl and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Stir to combine and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  6. Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for your favorite dishes.

Notes

For an extra kick, add diced jalapeños. To keep guacamole fresh, store in an airtight container with plastic wrap against the surface.
