- 3 slices of bread (white or brown)
- 3 tsp butter
- ¼ cup eggless mayonnaise
- 1 tsp green chutney
- ½ capsicum (thinly sliced)
- 3 slices of cheese
- ¼ tsp pepper powder
- 3 tbsp cabbage (shredded)
- ½ carrot (grated)
- 1 tbsp tomato sauce
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Firstly, trim off the sides of the bread slices. You can use the sides to prepare bread crumbs. Use a rolling pin to flatten the bread slices. Spread 3 tsp of butter over the bread slices and press to seal them together. Prepare a sauce by mixing ¼ cup eggless mayonnaise with 1 tsp green chutney until well combined, then spread it over the buttered bread. Next, top it with ½ capsicum, followed by 3 slices of cheese. Sprinkle with ¼ tsp pepper powder, then add 3 tbsp of cabbage and ½ grated carrot. For more flavor, garnish with 1 tbsp of tomato sauce and a pinch of salt.
