Description

Delightful strawberry cinnamon rolls combine fresh strawberries with the comforting warmth of cinnamon in fluffy, buttery dough, perfect for brunch or a special dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Mix together the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Combine warm milk, melted butter, water, and egg in another bowl.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients to form a dough. Knead until smooth and let it rise for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  5. Spread chopped strawberries evenly over the dough.
  6. Mix cinnamon and brown sugar together, then sprinkle over the strawberries.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and slice it into rolls.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  10. Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until they are golden brown.
  11. Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and milk until smooth for the glaze.
  12. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls before serving.

Notes

These rolls can be served warm or later with a drizzle of icing. They can also be stored in an airtight container for up to two days.
