- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 egg
- 1 cup strawberries, chopped
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Mix together the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl.
- Combine warm milk, melted butter, water, and egg in another bowl.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients to form a dough. Knead until smooth and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread chopped strawberries evenly over the dough.
- Mix cinnamon and brown sugar together, then sprinkle over the strawberries.
- Roll the dough tightly and slice it into rolls.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until they are golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and milk until smooth for the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls before serving.
Notes
These rolls can be served warm or later with a drizzle of icing. They can also be stored in an airtight container for up to two days.
