Description

Easy Strawberry Pretzel Salad is a delightful dessert that combines sweet and salty flavors in a unique way. This dish features a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy filling, and a refreshing strawberry topping. It’s perfect for gatherings or a summer treat. If you love salads with a twist, this recipe will be a fantastic addition to your collection. It reminds me a bit of the sweet strawberry pretzel salad , which is similar yet distinct in flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups pretzels, crushed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
  • 2 packages (3 oz each) strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of an 8×8-inch pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
  3. In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread the mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  4. In another bowl, dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Stir in sliced strawberries. Let it cool slightly, then pour over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
