Description

Delicious and fun Steak Fajita Kabobs combine juicy steak with colorful vegetables, perfect for barbecues or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or flank steak)
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a bowl, combine lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the steak cubes to the marinade, mix well, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. While the steak is marinating, cut the bell peppers and onion into chunks.
  5. Thread the marinated steak, bell peppers, and onion onto skewers, alternating as desired.
  6. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  7. Grill the kabobs for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak is cooked to your preferred level of doneness.
  8. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Choose steak with good marbling for extra flavor and tenderness. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before using them to prevent burning.
