- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch

- 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, salt, and cinnamon in a skillet. Cook over medium heat until bubbling, stirring occasionally.
- Pour the blueberry mixture into the pie crust placed in the skillet.
- Dot with butter and cover with another layer of crust, cutting slits for steam to escape.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
For the best flavor, use fresh blueberries when in season. Frozen berries work well if fresh isn’t available. Don’t skip the lemon juice as it enhances the flavor of the blueberries.
