- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup fresh key lime juice
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- Lime slices for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl to form the crust. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie pan.
- Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool.
- Whisk together the egg yolks and sweetened condensed milk in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Stir in the key lime juice and lime zest until well combined.
- Pour the filling into the cooled crust and bake for another 10-15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread or pipe the whipped cream over the top of the pie.
- Garnish with lime slices and serve.
