Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the lemon juice, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, honey, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Place the chicken in a resealable bag or container.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken, seal the bag, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for best flavor.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  5. Cook the chicken by grilling, searing, or baking until fully cooked.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. Adjust the honey for sweetness or add lemon juice for tanginess.
