Description

A refreshing beverage combining ripe peaches and classic sweet tea, perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium Fresh Peaches, sliced
  • 4 bags Black Tea
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar, adjust to taste
  • 4 cups Water
  • Ice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peaches by washing and slicing them. Aim for about 1½ cups of sliced peaches. Set aside.
  2. Brew the tea by bringing 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add the black tea bags and steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Combine the peaches with the hot tea and stir in the sugar until dissolved. Let sit for 30 minutes to infuse.
  4. Cool the tea by straining it into a pitcher, removing peach slices. Allow it to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Serve by filling glasses with ice and pouring the chilled peach sweet tea over the ice. Garnish with a peach slice or mint sprig if desired.

Notes

Avoid oversteeping the tea, prepare in advance for best flavor blending, and feel free to adjust sweetness to your preference.
