Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add this to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
- Fold in the colorful sprinkles.
- Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting them.
- Decorate with creamy frosting and add fun red, white, and blue decorations for a festive touch.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding lemon or almond extract along with the vanilla.
