Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup colorful sprinkles
  • Creamy frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • Red, white, and blue decorations (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add this to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
  5. Fold in the colorful sprinkles.
  6. Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting them.
  9. Decorate with creamy frosting and add fun red, white, and blue decorations for a festive touch.
