Ingredients
Scale

- 60 ml (1/4 cup) soy sauce
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) hoisin sauce
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) rice vinegar
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 30 g (2 tablespoons) honey
Instructions
- Prepare the wings by combining chicken wings, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, five-spice powder, and honey in a mixing bowl. Mix well to coat.
- Marinate the wings for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator, or overnight for deeper flavor.
- Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch.
- Cook the wings at 200°C (400°F) for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
- Serve the wings on a platter, garnish with green onions or sesame seeds, and enjoy hot!
Notes
For extra crispiness, lightly dust the marinated wings with cornstarch before cooking. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer for optimal airflow.
