- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup almond cream liqueur (Amaretto)
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 packet unflavored gelatin
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by preparing the pie crust according to package instructions and let it cool.
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Combine almond milk and sprinkle gelatin over it, let it sit for a few minutes, then gently heat until the gelatin dissolves.
- Mix in Amaretto and vanilla extract with the gelatin mixture.
- Fold the whipped cream into the almond mixture until well combined.
- Pour the filling into the cooled pie crust and smooth the top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 240 minutes or until set.
- Top with additional whipped cream and sprinkle chopped almonds on top before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider infusing almond milk with vanilla. If preferred, use a different nut for garnish.
