Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup almond cream liqueur (Amaretto)
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 packet unflavored gelatin
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing the pie crust according to package instructions and let it cool.
  2. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  3. Combine almond milk and sprinkle gelatin over it, let it sit for a few minutes, then gently heat until the gelatin dissolves.
  4. Mix in Amaretto and vanilla extract with the gelatin mixture.
  5. Fold the whipped cream into the almond mixture until well combined.
  6. Pour the filling into the cooled pie crust and smooth the top.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 240 minutes or until set.
  8. Top with additional whipped cream and sprinkle chopped almonds on top before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider infusing almond milk with vanilla. If preferred, use a different nut for garnish.
