- 2 ripe bananas (about 300 g)
- 240 ml (1 cup) milk
- 2 large eggs
- 125 g (1.5 cups) rolled oats
- 50 g (1/4 cup) brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 100 g (1/2 cup) chocolate chips
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Mash the two ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Add in the milk and eggs, then whisk until combined.
- Mix together the rolled oats, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch round cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For a vegan version, substitute the eggs with 1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce and use plant-based milk.
