Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, add the cubed bread. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, salt, and whiskey until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet mixture over the cubed bread. Gently fold the bread, ensuring it absorbs the custard mixture. Allow it to sit for about 10-15 minutes.
  5. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the bread mixture and stir gently to combine.
