- 3 large Overripe bananas (Mashed)
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter (Melted)
- 3/4 cup Granulated sugar (White)
- 1 large Egg (Room temperature)
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract (Pure)
- 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour (Sifted)
- 1 tsp Baking soda (Fresh)
- 1/4 tsp Salt (Fine)
- 2 tbsp Strawberry puree (For color)
- 1/4 cup Heart sprinkles (Pink and white)
Instructions
- Mash the bananas in a bowl and stir in the melted butter until the mixture is uniform.
- Whisk in the sugar, egg, and vanilla until the batter becomes smooth and slightly pale.
- Sift in the flour, baking soda, and salt, then stir gently until just combined.
- Remove one cup of batter and stir in the strawberry puree and pink gel coloring.
- Layer the plain and pink batters into a greased pan and swirl with a skewer.
- Press heart sprinkles across the top of the batter before placing the pan in the oven.
- Bake at 350°F for 55 minutes until a skewer comes out clean from the center.
- Cool the loaf completely on a wire rack before slicing to ensure the marble stays distinct.
