Description

These sophisticated Tiramisu Brownies feature a dense, fudgy chocolate base soaked in espresso, topped with a thick layer of sweetened mascarpone cream and a dusting of cocoa powder.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter (Melted)
  • 1 cup sugar (Granulated)
  • 2 eggs (Large)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (Dutch-processed)
  • 1/2 cup flour (All-purpose)
  • 1/4 cup espresso (Strong, hot)
  • 8 oz mascarpone (Cold)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (Cold)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (For topping)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (For dusting)

Instructions

  1. Bake brownies at 350°F for 20-25 minutes. While warm, poke holes and brush with espresso/liqueur mixture.
  2. Cool brownies completely in the pan.
  3. Whip heavy cream and powdered sugar. Fold in mascarpone cheese until smooth and stiff.
  4. Spread cream over cooled brownies. Chill for 2 hours.
  5. Dust with cocoa powder and slice into squares.
