  • For the Teriyaki Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the cornstarch and water until smooth. Add this mixture to the saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens (about 3-5 minutes). Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Add them to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
