- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the tahini marinade over the chicken, ensuring it’s well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the Pan: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil.
- Cook the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade, shaking off excess. Place the chicken in the hot skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for a few minutes to retain its juices.
- Sprinkle fresh parsley over the chicken for a pop of color and flavor.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken before serving for an extra zing.
