- 8 ounces cream cheese (at room temperature)
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup hot sauce
- ½ red bell pepper (chopped)
- ½ green bell pepper (chopped)
- 1 jalapeño pepper (chopped)
- 3 large tortillas (ancient grain whole wheat tortillas recommended)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, breadcrumbs, and hot sauce. Mix until smooth. Stir in the chopped peppers.
- Spread one-third of the cream cheese mixture on each tortilla. Sprinkle one-third of the cheddar cheese on top. Roll each tortilla tightly.
- Cut the rolled tortillas into 1-inch slices.
- Place the slices on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes until bubbly.
- Switch the oven to broil and broil for 3 minutes until golden.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm with salsa or sour cream.
