Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, salt, eggs, and half and half until fully combined and smooth.
- Cut the loaf of bread into thick slices, about ¾ to 1 inch thick.
- Dip each slice of bread into the custard mixture, allowing it to soak up the liquid.
- Place a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt the butter evenly.
- Place the soaked bread slices in the heated skillet and cook for about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately with your choice of toppings.
