- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (150 g each)
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup (240 ml) chicken broth
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- ½ cup (75 g) sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) Italian seasoning
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear for 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and stir to deglaze the skillet. Add the heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet. Let it simmer in the sauce for an additional 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
