Description

A delicious low-carb twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, this casserole is easy to prepare and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, torn
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and bell pepper, cooking for 5-6 minutes until softened.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 7-8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, then add the cream cheese, mixing until well combined and creamy.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly. Layer with torn provolone and shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 22-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden. Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
