Description

A delicious, low-carb casserole that brings together all your favorite burger flavors in a healthy and budget-friendly dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons ketchup, mustard

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then crumble and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic until the beef is cooked and the onion is soft. Drain excess grease.
  3. Mix in the softened cream cheese until melted, then stir in the crumbled bacon.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, ketchup, and mustard.
  5. Fold in half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the beef in a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until set and golden.
  8. Let cool, slice, and serve with pickles or parsley.
