- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Sesame seeds (optional)
- Chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by mincing garlic and chopping green onions if using.
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, honey, lime juice, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Add chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a splash of oil. Sear marinated chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Pour any leftover marinade into the skillet after flipping the chicken, cooking until the sauce thickens slightly (3-5 minutes).
- Once cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F), garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
- Serve over rice or alongside steamed veggies.
