Description

Irresistible Oreo Crunch Cheesecake Tacos with Chocolate Drizzle is an amazing dessert recipe that combines the rich flavors of cheesecake and crunchy Oreos in a fun taco shell.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (16 oz) Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 package (12 count) taco shells
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Optional toppings: crushed Oreos, whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Reserve a few tablespoons for garnish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well incorporated.
  5. Take the taco shells and fill them with the cheesecake filling using a piping bag or spoon. Make sure to pack it in well.
  6. Place the filled taco shells in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes to allow the filling to set.
  7. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth. Stir until well combined.
  8. Remove the tacos from the refrigerator and drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of each taco.
  9. Sprinkle the reserved crushed Oreos on top of the tacos for added crunch and decoration.
  10. Enjoy immediately, or keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
  • Adjust the sweetness to your preference by varying the sugar.
  • For a lighter filling, ensure the whipped cream is folded in gently.
