  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, black pepper, paprika, salt, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
  4. Place the wings in a large bowl or zip-top bag. Pour the marinade over the wings, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight in the fridge).
  5. Place the marinated wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
