Description
Juicy honey garlic pork chops with a sweet and savory glaze, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 Bone-in Pork Chops
- 120 ml (½ cup) Honey
- 60 ml (¼ cup) Soy Sauce
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) Olive Oil
- Black Pepper, to taste
- Chopped Green Onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, and black pepper until well-combined, about 1 minute.
- Place the pork chops in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for 15 minutes at room temperature.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes.
- Remove the chops from the marinade, letting the excess drip off, and place them in the hot skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, until golden brown.
- Flip the chops, brush with remaining marinade, reduce heat to medium, and cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 63°C (145°F).
- Transfer the cooked chops to a plate and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the marinade. Marinate overnight for deeper flavor.
