- 12 Hawaiian rolls

- 1 cup crushed pineapple (drained)
- ½ cup shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Tear the Hawaiian rolls into bite-sized pieces and place them evenly in the greased baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Stir in the crushed pineapple, shredded coconut, and chopped nuts if using. Mix thoroughly.
- Pour the custard mixture over the torn rolls, ensuring all pieces are soaked. Gently press down to ensure even coverage.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving.
