Description
Grilled Triple Citrus Salmon features tender salmon fillets marinated and glazed with a blend of orange, lemon, and lime juices combined with orange marmalade, garlic, soy sauce, and brown sugar.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 (6-ounce) salmon filets
- ½ cup orange juice
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ¼ cup lime juice
- ¼ cup orange marmalade
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together the orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, orange marmalade, minced garlic, soy sauce, and brown sugar until well combined.
- In a small bowl, whisk the cornstarch and water together to form a slurry. Slowly add this to the marinade mixture in the saucepan while stirring continuously. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and set aside half of the marinade for glazing.
- Lay the salmon filets skin side down on cedar planks or a well-oiled grill grate. Season each filet with salt and pepper. Brush half of the marinade over the tops of the salmon fillets.
- Place the salmon on a preheated grill over medium-high heat. Grill for 12 to 15 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Transfer the grilled salmon filets to serving plates. Brush the reserved marinade over the top of each filet. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Using cedar planks adds a smoky flavor.
- Adjust grilling time based on the thickness of the salmon fillets.
