Description

Deliciously chewy and nutritious cookies made with Greek yogurt and chia seeds, perfect for a healthy snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, chia seeds, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  5. Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

You can substitute chocolate chips with dried fruit or nuts for added flavor. Experiment with different sweeteners to find your preferred taste.
