Description

Irresistible Garlic Steak Tortellini Skillet is a one-pan comfort meal with juicy steak, tender tortellini, and rich garlic parmesan cream sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (plus more to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup reserved pasta water
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak cubes in a single layer. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Sear steak 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil, then add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add cooked tortellini, reserved pasta water, heavy cream, and Parmesan. Stir well and simmer 3–5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  6. Return steak to skillet and toss to coat. Heat through 1–2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
