These Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers feature tender chicken breast pieces marinated in a flavorful blend of garlic, parmesan cheese, smoked paprika, and herbs, then air fried to juicy perfection.

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste
  • ½ tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 1 teaspoon onion granules
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese, divided
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Remaining parmesan cheese reserved from marinade

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch bite-sized cubes and place them into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add olive oil, mayonnaise, chili paste, smoked paprika, garlic granules, onion granules, dried parsley, half of the parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all chicken pieces are evenly coated with the marinade.
  3. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers, placing about 4-6 pieces per skewer.
  4. Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and preheat. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil to prevent sticking.
  5. Arrange the skewers in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is fully cooked, nicely charred, and no longer pink inside. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
  6. While the chicken cooks, melt the unsalted butter in the microwave for about 10 seconds. Add minced garlic, remaining parmesan cheese, and fresh parsley to the melted butter and whisk until combined.
  7. Once cooked, generously brush the garlic parmesan butter evenly over all sides of the chicken skewers.
  8. Serve the skewers immediately. They pair wonderfully with wraps, rice, or creamy mashed potatoes for a satisfying meal.
