Description
Tender beef bites bathed in garlic butter paired with crispy potatoes create a comforting meal. Perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 500 g (1 lb) tender beef (like sirloin or ribeye)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 60 g (4 tbsp) unsalted butter
- 500 g (about 4 medium potatoes), diced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- A handful of fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Potatoes: Wash and dice the potatoes into 2.5 cm (1-inch) cubes. Boil in salted water for 10 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the Beef: Melt 30 g (2 tbsp) butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the beef with salt and pepper, and sauté for 5–7 minutes until browned and medium-rare. Remove and set aside.
- Cook the Potatoes: In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and precooked potatoes, cooking for about 10 minutes until crispy and golden.
- Combine and Flavor: Return the beef to the skillet and add minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the skillet to prevent steaming the beef. Let potatoes sit after boiling for better crisping.
