  • 46 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried parsley)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise, creating two long pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning if using. Mix until well combined.
  4. Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. If you’re using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle it generously over the buttered sides.
  6. Wrap each half of the bread in aluminum foil to keep it moist while baking.
  7. Place the wrapped bread halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
