Description

Indulgent yet simple no-bake chocolate truffles that melt in your mouth, perfect for gifting or satisfying sweet cravings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200 g (7 oz) dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) heavy cream
  • 50 g (1/4 cup) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional flavoring: vanilla extract, orange zest, or liqueur

Instructions

  1. Heat the cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it simmers (3-5 minutes).
  2. Place chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl and pour hot cream over it. Let sit for 1-2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
  3. Add optional flavorings if desired and mix until incorporated.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it cool for about 30 minutes, then refrigerate for 1-2 hours until firm.
  5. Scoop small portions of ganache and roll into balls about 2.5 cm (1 inch) in diameter.
  6. Roll each truffle in cocoa powder until fully coated and refrigerate for another 30 minutes to set.

Notes

These truffles can be made up to a week in advance. Store in the refrigerator or freeze for up to 3 months.
