- 900 g (2 lbs) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 480 ml (2 cans) cream of chicken soup
- 28 g (1 packet) Italian dressing mix
- 60 g (1/4 cup) butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crock pot, evenly spaced.
- In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, Italian dressing mix, and melted butter. Pour over the chicken.
- Sprinkle minced garlic over the chicken and sauce mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours until chicken reaches 74°C (165°F) and shreds easily.
- Shred the chicken in the pot and serve warm with your choice of sides.
Notes
For added flavor, consider searing the chicken before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
