Divorce Salad is a sweet, crunchy, and refreshing non-mayo salad made with fruit, cabbage, and a light whipped topping.

- 1 (15 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 cup shredded carrot
- 1 cup shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
- 1/2 cup sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade)
Instructions
- Drain pineapple and mandarin oranges thoroughly. Shred cabbage and carrot if needed.
- In a large bowl, gently mix fruit, cabbage, carrot, nuts, coconut, and marshmallows.
- Fold in whipped topping until evenly coated. Adjust sugar and salt to taste.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled as a potluck side or alongside soup or family dinner.
