- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 diced onion
- 1 diced bell pepper
- Optional toppings: sour cream, avocado, olives
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch pie pan.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked, then drain excess grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning with a splash of water.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salsa, 1 cup of cheese, garlic salt, and pepper.
- Place the taco beef in the greased pie pan, pour the egg mixture over it, and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Make sure to properly drain the beef to avoid a watery filling. Customize toppings to suit your family’s tastes.
