- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup dried cranberries, chopped
- ½ cup pecans, chopped
- 2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Additional pecans for coating
- Crackers or sliced bread for serving
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese. Use a hand mixer or spatula to blend until smooth.
- Stir in the chopped cranberries, chopped pecans, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Using your hands, shape the cheese mixture into a ball. Make sure it is compact and well-formed.
- Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Once chilled, remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator. Roll it in additional chopped pecans to coat the outside evenly.
- Transfer the coated cheese ball to a serving platter. Add crackers or sliced bread around it for a complete appetizer spread.
