Cinnamon Apple Pudding Bake is a delightful dessert perfect for fall.

- 4 medium apples (preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Optional: Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with ½ cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and ½ teaspoon of nutmeg. Set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, remaining ½ cup sugar, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well blended.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Spread the apple mixture evenly on top of the batter.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving.
