A festive delight featuring a rich red velvet cheesecake layered on a crunchy Oreo crust, topped with whipped cream and sprinkles.

- 1 ½ cups Oreo cookie crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup white sugar (plus 2 tablespoons)
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup red food coloring
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ¼ cup Christmas sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Wrap a 9-inch springform pan in aluminum foil.
- Crush Oreo cookies and mix with melted butter and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Press into the bottom of the pan and bake for 8-10 minutes; cool.
- In a bowl, blend cream cheese and ½ cup sugar until smooth. Mix in vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and red food coloring. Fold in whipped cream and sprinkles.
- Pour the filling over the cooled crust and reduce oven to 325°F (160°C). Place the springform pan in a water bath. Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Cool cheesecake in the oven for 1 hour, then chill in the fridge for at least 6-8 hours.
- Top with whipped cream and additional sprinkles before serving.
Notes
For a twist, add chocolate or fruit layers. Use a sharp knife dipped in hot water for clean slices.
