- 1 cup shredded Asiago cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour the heavy cream over the chicken, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Sprinkle the shredded Asiago cheese evenly over the chicken and sauce.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
