- 1 lb sirloin, cut into chunks
- 4 strips of bacon
- 2 tablespoons tallow or bacon grease
- 4 cups beef broth

Instructions
- Cook the bacon until crispy. Reserve drippings.
- Preheat a Dutch oven over medium-high heat and add tallow or bacon grease.
- Sear the sirloin chunks for 2-3 minutes on each side, then set aside.
- Add ground beef to the pot and cook until browned.
- Return sirloin to the pot, add beef broth, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Crumble the cooked bacon into the chili.
