Description

A hearty, meat-based chili recipe that aligns with Carnivore dietary principles, perfect for cold evenings and family meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb sirloin, cut into chunks
  • 4 strips of bacon
  • 2 tablespoons tallow or bacon grease
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Shredded cheese for serving
  • Optional: Sour cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon until crispy. Reserve drippings.
  2. Preheat a Dutch oven over medium-high heat and add tallow or bacon grease.
  3. Sear the sirloin chunks for 2-3 minutes on each side, then set aside.
  4. Add ground beef to the pot and cook until browned.
  5. Return sirloin to the pot, add beef broth, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Crumble the cooked bacon into the chili.
  7. Adjust seasoning and serve hot with optional toppings.

Notes

Feel free to customize with your preferred spices or meat cuts. Simmering longer enhances flavors.
