- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- ½ cup fresh basil, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)

- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, add the cherry tomatoes and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they soften.
- While the tomatoes are cooking, slice the cooked chicken into thin strips.
- Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet. Pour in the balsamic vinegar and toss everything together until well combined.
- Stir in the chopped basil, and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
- Plate the pasta and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
