Description

Blue Christmas Truffles are creamy no-bake white chocolate truffles tinted bright blue and rolled in sparkling sanding sugar for a wintery holiday treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened, 1 package)
  • 3 cups white chocolate chips (or chopped white chocolate)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp blue gel food coloring (start small, add more to desired shade)
  • 1 1/2 cups blue sparkling sanding sugar (coating)
  • 1/2 cup white sparkling sugar (optional “snow” effect)
  • blue sanding sugar (as needed for serving platter)
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candies (mix into coating)
  • silver edible glitter (as desired)

Instructions

  1. Combine white chocolate chips and butter; microwave in short bursts, stir until smooth.
  2. Stir in softened cream cheese until fully combined.
  3. Mix in vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Add blue gel coloring gradually until desired shade.
  5. Refrigerate 2–3 hours until firm enough to scoop.
  6. Portion mixture and roll into balls.
  7. Roll in blue/white sanding sugar; gently press to adhere.
  8. Chill 30 minutes before serving.
