Banana Pudding Tiramisu with Caramel: An Incredible 7-Layer Delight


Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 1 package (7 oz) ladyfingers
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 4 cups vanilla pudding (prepared according to package instructions)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Additional banana slices and caramel for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the cooled brewed coffee and coffee liqueur (if using).
  2. Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture quickly, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
  3. Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a rectangular or square dish.
  4. Place a layer of sliced bananas on top of the ladyfingers.
  5. Evenly spread a layer of vanilla pudding over the bananas.
  6. In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  7. Fold half of the whipped cream into the remaining vanilla pudding until smooth.
  8. Spread half of the pudding and whipped cream mixture over the pudding layer.
  9. Repeat the layers with another set of soaked ladyfingers, banana slices, and pudding mixture.
  10. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top layer of pudding.
  11. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  12. Before serving, garnish with additional banana slices and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
