Banana Pudding Tiramisu with Caramel: An Incredible 7-Layer Delight

- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
- 1 package (7 oz) ladyfingers
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 4 cups vanilla pudding (prepared according to package instructions)
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Additional banana slices and caramel for garnish
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, combine the cooled brewed coffee and coffee liqueur (if using).
- Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture quickly, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
- Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a rectangular or square dish.
- Place a layer of sliced bananas on top of the ladyfingers.
- Evenly spread a layer of vanilla pudding over the bananas.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Fold half of the whipped cream into the remaining vanilla pudding until smooth.
- Spread half of the pudding and whipped cream mixture over the pudding layer.
- Repeat the layers with another set of soaked ladyfingers, banana slices, and pudding mixture.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top layer of pudding.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Before serving, garnish with additional banana slices and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
