A quick and easy family-favorite casserole that combines the classic flavors of a cheeseburger into a hearty dish.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 4 slices bacon, crumbled
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 onion, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onions over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, ground beef mixture, crumbled bacon, diced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, and half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Mix thoroughly and season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish. Top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, season the meat with salt, pepper, and garlic powder while sautéing. You can customize this casserole by adding your favorite vegetables.
